The Atlas is built upon objective research. Whenever possible, distinguish between direct observations and personal interpretations. Clearly identifying what was observed versus what is believed helps preserve the long-term research value of the Atlas.
Accounts found to be intentionally submitting false information, duplicate reports, automated submissions, fraudulent content, or attempting to manipulate Atlas data may be limited, suspended, or permanently terminated without refund where permitted by law.
Submissions may undergo automated processing, manual review, or both before being incorporated into the Atlas.
DayStalkers may request clarification, standardize information, classify or reclassify reports, correct formatting, generalize locations, anonymize identifying details, delay publication, decline publication, or remove material when necessary to protect privacy, safety, research quality, legal compliance, system reliability, or database integrity.
Submitting material does not guarantee publication, inclusion in the Atlas, acknowledgment, or continued availability.
Access to the Atlas may be limited, suspended, or terminated for repeated abuse, fraud, manipulation attempts, security threats, or violations of these guidelines or the Terms of Service.
The Atlas is intended for research, educational, historical preservation, investigative, geographic, and informational purposes.
Submitted material may contribute to historical preservation, statistical analysis, geographic modeling, pattern analysis, newsletters, publications, educational material, Cryptanthropus LLC research resources, and future analytical tools, subject to the license and other provisions contained in the Terms of Service.
Atlas visualizations, rankings, hotspot analysis, movement corridors, probability models, habitat analysis, and related outputs are investigative tools designed to assist research. They should not be interpreted as verified biological evidence, confirmed wildlife tracking, scientific proof, or guaranteed activity predictions.
To protect privacy, private property, environmentally sensitive areas, witnesses, and ongoing investigations, published locations may be generalized, rounded, delayed, withheld, or otherwise adjusted.
Exact coordinates submitted by contributors may not always be displayed publicly.
Atlas maps and analytical locations do not grant permission to enter private property, restricted land, closed roads, protected areas, or unsafe locations. Users are responsible for obtaining permission and complying with applicable laws, regulations, closures, and land-use rules.
If you believe your submission was declined, modified, classified, or displayed in error, you may contact DayStalkers and provide additional supporting information for further review. Decisions may be reconsidered when new evidence or better source information becomes available.
These guidelines supplement the DayStalkers Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund and Digital Services Policy, and Legal Notices & Disclaimers. If a provision of these guidelines conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control to the extent of the conflict.
These Community Guidelines may be updated periodically as DayStalkers, Bigfoot Atlas, Cryptanthropus LLC, technology, research practices, or applicable requirements evolve.
The current version will be posted with its effective date. Continued use of the Services after updated guidelines become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
